It’s back to school time and if you’re kids are anything like mine we need to little review of routines and the order for the day. A simple chore chart or routine list helps create a little structure that is helpful in getting them out the door for school, ready for bed, and everything in between. I’m sharing a simple routine checklist with you today that can be used a couple different ways. It’s meant to be used either as a two week checklist or as a morning and evening checklist. The key to this checklist is that it isn’t necessarily a chore chart, but it’s a reminder list. A list like this may yield better results for your littles – no nagging, just check the tasks off the list.
Need some ideas for reminders?
- make bed
- brush teeth
- wash face
- get dressed
- tidy up room
- make lunch
- do homework
- feed pet(s)
- bath or shower
- laundry
- put away clothes
- pack lunch
- empty lunchbox

Thanks for sharing the printable. I’ve not got kids, but will print these out and use them for myself 🙂

These are great! Thank you so much.
What cute little checklists for the kids! Thanks so much for sharing them! I love your blog!
Such a great idea!!! Love it!
Wow! After 3 weeks of school and tiring of reminding, finding a printable checklist was THE highest priority on the list today, so this literally is a gift from heaven and so timely. The checklists are very hip looking and my boys will love them. THANK YOU!!!!
These are great — I am a sort of laid back mom, and as a result, our house is always a little messy! I will print these out and start a new routine, so my kids will regularly pick up their room and make their beds, etc.! Thanks!
Simple and Useful! Love it, thanks for sharing.
These are great and P.ERFECT timing! I was wondering if you have printable like this one to be used for the kids chores? Instead of daily routines it could be daily or weekly chores? Maybe daily in top part, weekly in bottom half. I want to incorporate chores in our routine but they would be doing different chores each day. Still trying to figure it all out!! Thanks again for posting!
These are great and so simple to use! Thanks for sharing!
