As we enjoy the snow showers and frigid temperatures (by the fire), returning to schedules now that the children are back at school and resolutions have been made, it can be fun to stretch ourselves and try something new. It’s one of the greatest parts of being in a book club- going beyond our normal, comfortable bounds and trying a new genre, author or series. You never know what you might end up truly liking! This month we’re reading The Husband’s Secret. Last month, we took a break for the holidays and, I’m pleased to announce that our pick for February is, Wife 22 by Melanie Gideon.

At the end of each month, we hold our virtual discussion on Goodreads, so please make sure you join us there as well. This month, we will have our discussion of The Husband’s Secret, on 1/27/14 at 8pm.

I have always wanted to join a book club. I LOVE reading !!! this will give me more discipline and as a new mommy a goal to actually make sometime to get back to reading. I am excited. I have read a few books that you guys have read. I won’t be able to catch up with January’s book, but I definitely look forward to February’s.
