My favorite holiday is Independence Day so I love to decorate with Americana. With the help of 3M Command, I was able to hang decorations on my southern porch, without damaging the siding or paint. Here is what my house looked like “before” I began.
These are the Command products I used for damage free decorating (The Window Hooks & the Terrace Hooks).
With a few flags and a hanging basket, I was ready to get started.
After adding the flags, basket, and ferns, our home came alive with an abundance of color. I especially love the bunting flags I purchased from Martha Stewarts “American Made” products on Ebay.
The outdoor Command hooks work great on windows.
I purchased the pendent flag at Hobby Lobby.
Don’t forget to hang an American Flag.
To add a little more color, I hung 3 ferns on my balcony. Ferns are my favorite hanging plant. They take a beating and keep on going.
Voila! My patriotic porch is complete. Do you decorate for Independence Day?
Have a safe and fun Forth of July!
