Abigail and I made Nestle’s chocolate chip cookies today. The weather is getting cooler and my oven is getting warmer. I am a “summer” girl but I love it when the season changes at the beginning of Autumn. The colors are so vibrant and organic. The smell of leaves falling from the trees, apple pie in the oven, marshmallows roasting in a bon fire, sipping on hot cocoa at a friday night football game, and Pumpkin Spice latte at Starbucks. I love it all! We are headed out to the apple orchard this evening to pick some apples. I hope you have a fun filled weekend as well.

I just pulled my Uggs out of the closet, and I may or may not have let out a little squeal of excitement as I put them on…
We love trips to the pumpkin patch and of course… football! 😉 I adore your cake plate! Is it vintage? It’s beautiful.

Football is a biggie around our house but, I really love decorating my porch for Fall. I change out my annuals to mums and head to the pumpkin patch to round out the look. No pun intended 😉
I am all about Halloween. it’s my favorite holiday and I plan for it all year long. We have a huge party, tons of food…it’s fabulous!

I love being able to use the oven without overheating the house.

Well, I do not have autum traditions. I do tend to decorate my home seasonally. And since I’ve becomed a blog reader I have picked a few traditions from others. I love your cookie platter. Is it from Princess House? I just hosted a party a few weeks ago. And I will be getting the punch server as a gift. But I like that you used the white platter.
The homemade cookies & trip to the apple orchard sound perfect, Toni. We are now living close to our kiddoes & kidlets, so we are planning lots of special activities. We are so excited about it.
