Welcome back to our homebuilding journey. We are finishing up the preparation phase of building. The lot has been cleared, the pad is all set, and the port-a-john has been delivered. We are ready to start building! During week 4, the pad settled some more, in preparation for the foundation. The builder had the port-a-john and the rebar delivered. Things are starting to get real now! We also picked out some of our doors. This was an exciting day.

Choosing the right door is significant for the overall vibe of the house. And not only the front door but all the doors in the house. Color usually is the easiest part, it’d be easily changed. So it’s better to pay attention on form and details (this includes the door knobs)
