This week, one of my projects was to empty out, clean, and organize my fridge. Let me just tell you, it was LONG overdue! To be honest, I don’t think I have ever completely taken out everything (including the shelving and drawers) to clean it.
This time it all came out! 🙂
This picture shows the door shelving and all that was in them.
Here is a “before the cleaning” picture, after everything was removed.
Embarrasing, I know! Ewww…
I took a bucket full of hot water and squirted a few drops of Get Clean Dish Wash Concentrate in it, grabbed my sponge and started scrubbing! This stuff smells divine!
I used my Basic H degreaser for the really dirty areas. It worked well! Also, its non-toxic because who wants to use toxic cleaners where their food goes? I don’t!
This” after” picture doesn’t do the fridge justice. It was sparkling clean!
I was so proud of myself. It looks new again.
After I was finished, I filled the fridge back up. This is an empty fridge in our house. I waited until I had to go grocery shopping before I cleaned it out. Less mess to empty.
I added two bins from the Container Store. They are great for just about everything. I used these for my fruits and veggies.
The crispy clean drawers.
I containerized the condiments for easy access.
Deli and cheese drawer.
Now, on to the next project! It will take another day to clean out the freezer!

Jen. I actually first saw the containers in your freezer, but originally bought them for my pantry. When cleaning out my fridge, I thought they would be perfect… so now I have to go back to container store to get lots more. They are great!

TOO FUNNY! I was just looking at my fridge yesterday…I thought, I wish I could see Toni’s fridge and how she organizes her stuff. MY WISH CAME TRUE:) I will be doing mine today! Thanks.

A woman after my own heart. I get almost giddy when I get something cleaned out & organized or reorganized. I just this process with my freezer, but try to stay on top of the fridge. I really like the Container Store items.
