Its finally here! After all of the planning, cleaning, picture shooting, emailing, scheduling & blogging, the tour is ready to go. This week A Bowl Full of Lemons is hosting a virtual Parade of Homes event with 33 homes!!! We will be sharing 6+ homes per day for the next 5 days. The tour starts here!
My home is the first stop in the Parade. At the end of my tour, make sure to click on the door to go to the next home. After home #6, you will have to wait until tomorrow to see the next home. We will be sharing 6 homes per day. Grab a cup of coffee and relax in your seat because you are about to get some great inspiration.
I use this old market basket for my Pottery Barn decor books.
The galvanized number boxes are from Pottery Barn. I found them on clearance.
I got the bird cage from Gabriel Brothers. Its one of my favorite finds.
I picked up this old gate door at an antique mall during spring break in West Virginia. I hung vintage post cards on clothes pins. The post cards are from 1910’s.
A Hobby Lobby find, a vintage station clock.
Love my Martha Stewart towels.
My tutorial on how to make a chalkboard frame is {here}.
My cake stand is from Home Goods ($12.99).
Another Hobby Lobby basket find. It holds all of my current magazines & catalogs.
We got this Sourav table from World Market.
My 4 year olds “Bakery” bedroom
The last room on my tour is my daughters new bakery bedroom. I’m not completely finished with it yet, but I wanted to show it during the house tour. I still need to finish the vinyl lettering. Im adding some more pink “baking words” to go around her entire room. Im also hanging the “sweets” pictures on brown polka dot ribbon, from the board & batton. I also need to sew brown ric-rack to the bottom of her bedskirt. So much to do, no time to do it. 🙂
She’s growing up so fast.
25 cent Martha Stewart valances from a garage sale.
The sweets pictures are from a garage sale too ($1.00 each).
Copy cat pottery barn armoire ($150 instead of $1000).
The chalkboard is from an old picture frame I purchased at a thrift store. I painted the frame pink & spray painted chalk board paint on the glass.
I LOVE these baskets. I picked them up at Gabriel Brothers.
The cake stand is from Home Goods.
Next on the tour is a beautifully decorated home by Jennifer at The Old Painted Cottage. Her home has recently been featured in the Romantic Prairie Style book. She has the most gorgeous dining room I’ve ever seen. I would love to “copy” her look for my own dining room. Maybe I will just have to kidnap her and hold her hostage until she cooperates and decorates my home. (he-he)

Your Home Tour is fabulous!!!
I about fell off of my chair when you said Gabriel Brothers…. I know some of the Gabriel boys who started those stores! I am from SW Pennsylvania and grew up near many of their first stores in WV, PA and OH. So funny to see that in your post.
Your daughter’s sweet room is so cute, every little “sweet” detail. Your vignettes are so well done.
Love the linens and warm pallet of khakis, ivory, warm whites and beige throughout your home. Also love the mirror above the sink…so many things I could comment on!
Fantastic… all of it. Thanks for letting us all in for a most enjoyable peek.
xx

Toni,
Your home is beautiful! I love all the wire baskets you use throughout your space and your choices are just gorgeous! I also love that you mention the places you buy certain things too. Love it!
Your home is just gorgeous. I love the combination of vintage/modern/pretty that you have going on. Your daughters room is adorable. I’ve never seen a bakery theme and I think it’s just perfect for a girl.
Now I’m off to see more homes. Thanks for hosting this tour. It’s perfect for this rainy cold morning we are having here.
Dear Toni,
Thank you for hosting the house tour
and for sharing your beautiful home.
I especially love your daughter’s Shabby Chic room and the fact that you incorporated the
dreamy playhouse outside. I think that just about everybody loves spending time outside making memories.
House tours are a great way to get ideas for
decorating and a reminder to remember
to only surround yourself with the things
that you love and treasure.
You inspire a lot of people with your ideas.
Keep up the great work.
Many blessings to you!
Enjoy this beautiful day.
Oh WOW Toni your home is gorgeous! I absolutely loved the tour, thank you so much for sharing!

It’s beautiful! Thank you for sharing all the lovely details. And thank you for the party! 🙂
Loved taking the tour today. You have inspired me to try to do some updates in my home. I’ve had decorating fever but it needed a strong dose of inspiration and your sharing of your home is the cure! I have that same bedspread that you have on your daughter’s bed. Was it from the shabby chic collection? I like how you combined it with the striped sheets. Your daughter’s room is very sweet. Thank you for sharing with us where you find the items in your home. Target, Home Goods, and a yard sale combined make for great style. Your talented ideas made them all fit together. Hugs, Maryjane from Storybook Cottage
Your home is so lovely. And your daughter’s bedroom is just heavenly! Love all your sweet vignettes and color choices.
Thanks for hosting this fun event. I have a feeling I know what I’ll be doing with my free time the next few days……..visiting all the gorgeous homes!

Not able to open the door for Home 3 have you had any other complaints?? I was so enjoying the tour…….
I had so much fun touring your home. It’s stunning! I went back to see the kitchen makeover. What a huge difference paint and hardware make. We are using bead board like you, as well. Love all the wire baskets, pops of jadite green and the #’d accessories. You’ve done a great job of mixing vintage in an updated style.
Thanks so much for allowing me to join in on the tour. It made my week 🙂
Your Home is Absolutely Beautiful, I have really enjoyed seeing all the Homes, Not sure if it is a Cliche in the system, but I think it is house 26 The Vintage Farmhouse that the end of the post just stops, I can’t leave her a comment or see anything to go back to the beginning or the Next home (if there is one) I figured there must be, since this goes on till tomorrow…
just thought I would Let You Know
Thanks for such a Fun Tour!

Thank you so much for all of the hard work to make this tour so successful!
hugs,

Love your home…so soft and romantic!
I learned of the Parade of Homes over at Mary’s Meanderings. So great as it is always fun to peek inside the home of others. And since it is so hard to get decent decorating magazines on this side of the world, it’s even more fun for me to sit back and take a virtual tour. Now I see 52 other bloggers linked up. I may need to stay in pajamas all weekend. 🙂 Happy weekend wishes to you, Tammy
Oh My Gosh!!! You are seriously a woman after my own heart….I love everything!! Thank you for sharing!
WOW WOW WOW! Can I tell you how fun this has been looking at the homes! I love your house. It’s beautiful and now I want to go paint all my furniture white! Actually I’ve been debating painting my dining furniture and I think your photos sealed the deal! Lovely!

Thank you for showing your beautiful home. I feel incredibly grateful for home decor blogs like yours. It is such a treat as I do not know any one in person who enjoys decorating like I do. I love your house. Can I ask what the dimensions of your living room are? I love your furniture layout, and I would like to see if it would work in my room. I also need to downsize my large TV cabinet and shelves to something all it cottage vintage as you do. Thank you for inspiring me!
Whoops…re:I also need to downsize my large TV cabinet and shelves to something like you did. My style is similar to yours, I’d call it cottage..
Where did you get the wreath in your kitchen? I love it!
Target. A couple years ago. 🙂 Its a bay leaf wreath.
