I love your list, you will have a very productive year!
My list is simple, make as many gifts by hand as possible this year 🙂

I love that you made goals on a list to cross off. I always make new years goals. This year I made a 2012 manifesto that will be tomorrows post on The Turquoise Piano.

Wow! That’s a long list…I am sure you will get most, if not all, of those this year!

I’m impressed! A very ambitious list. Good luck!
Don’t know if you’ve visited Savannah before, but it is one of my all-time favorite destinations!! You’ll love it. I go at least a couple of times each year. Every season is lovely in its own way.
Thanks for sharing.

I love that you said you’re looking for your “Forever Home,” because that’s what we call ours!
At the top of our to-do list is giving our Forever Home a total moulding upgrade this year — big crown moulidngs, big baseboards, grand door surrounds, wainscoting and even an ornate ceiling in the stairwell.
Happy New Year!
Ken and Jennifer
Good luck to you in 2012! I know selling your house is a priority, followed closely by buying your forever home, & I truly wish you well on both. I don’t do “resolutions” either, but more of a “to-do” list. You can see mine here: http://cas-mydailyjournal.blogspot.com/2012/01/happy-new-year-time-to-refresh-renew.html
Happy New Year!

I love a lot of your goals and it has let me notice I would like do to many of those things too and will add them to my to-do list this year as well! Thanks and happy new year!
I have some of the same goals on my list.
1. Eat healthier
2. Exercise at least 3 times a week
3. Lose 20 lbs
4. Blog more often is a big one for me.
5. Start (and stick to) the envelope system
6. Read one book a month
I already live near the beach so we go a good amount of time, AND I live in Savannah. We LOVE it here! It’s such a beautiful place. I’d love to know when you come visit. Maybe we can have a meet and greet!
If I didn’t know better, I would think you had gotten into my head and stolen most of my ideas with this post! I hate “resolutions”, but I love To Do Lists. And that’s what I’m doing for 2012 is Goals instead of resolutions. Haven’t written them down yet, but reread your list and you pretty much know all of my goals. 🙂 Happy New Year!
I’ve tried to whittle my main ones down to three this year…but i have added one since…

My 4th is to go 24 hours without nagging Him Indoors…a VERY difficult task.

Being a list-lover myself, I really enjoyed this post 😉 good luck!
We are, right now finishing up some little things in our home so we can find our “forever” home as well. I’m so excited about this and like you, excited about organizing the whole thing!
The Outlander Series is AWESOME!!!
I love to do list for the year. It is such a wonderful feeling to mark off your accomplishments and to look back at the end of the year at all that you did!! Here is a link to my blog post of my 101 things for 2012.

Great list! My hubby and I are also looking for our forever home this year and I can’t wait to buy it, move in, and organize it!
And yes, most of us would appreciate more of #13 😉
LOVE the Outlander series! Caught up to current! She has book 8 in the works! I tend to listen to books on audio while I work on other things so with these being my favorite books, I have actually LISTENED to the series 4 times I believe. Listening to books is a great way to keep up on my “reading”!
The best of luck. Love your goals and anyone would be lucky to purchase your beautiful home.
Thanks Toni….for inspiring to make this list…I have my goals for the year but I had not made a list of what I want to accomplish.
Sue 🙂

Wow.. what a really long list! I created a different kind of resolutions list for 2012 — but I like your idea of calling it a to-do list instead of a resolution list. Here’s mine:
1)stay home, make visiting family a treat & not an every weekend event. (our families live about an hour away — close enough to visit often).
2)Organize home. Keep kitchen counter tops & kitchen table cleared off.
3)Organize upstairs closet.
4)Organize upstairs bedroom — to become a ‘man cave’
5)create a budget with clear projects & goals.
Mine’s short — trying to keep it attainable so I don’t get bummed out about it!
I had to comment on #17 as we just took a jog in our holiday trip home to include an overnight stay in Savanna and a morning of sightseeing. My list would include visiting more cities! I did all my organizing last year when we retired to a small bungalow in Florida! I loved reading all the lists!
Great to do list 🙂
Oh I feel like such a nerd! Getting all excited over the comments about Outlander! It is my most favorite series ever! Have all 7 books on my Kindle and re-read them constantly! As for a list….. I actually started on my list in December with the guest room
1)clean up and clean out of the guest bedroom
2)new flooring for sons room
3)complete bathroom remodel
4)new flooring for hall and guest bedroom
5)clean out and organize the very large workshop we have.. and KEEP it that way (thats the hard part)
6)Get brave enough to open a booth at my local antique mall
7)eat healthier
8)to not cringe or freak out while my son is driving with his learners permit and to enjoy the time I still have him before he begins working.
9)when camping this summer to take time to enjoy it and everyone with us
10)more time to love and appreciate my husband
Hey friend!! I just posted my list. It feels SO good to have it outta my head and ready to be checked off!!! Thanks for the inspiration. You’re the best!
Jennie {Cinnaberry Suite}
P.S. I should have added “take down the Christmas on my blog” to my list!!! Heeheee!! Gettin’ to it right now 🙂
