…our home is coming along well. The hardwoods are in, the hardware has been installed, and most of the lighting is up.
The black shutters still need to be installed.
On monday, the landscaping will go in.
The office.
I love the 7″ baseboards & the white paint.
Right now, the kitchen is a mess. This faucet will be replaced with a vintage style oil rubbed bronze faucet (like the one below).
I purchased the hardware for the cabinetry last week. So excited for it to go on. We will be installing beadboard in the kitchen & bathrooms.
The pantry doors.
The family room.
Love the floors.
The formal living room & dining room.
The master bedroom.
The sitting room.
Our community has a beautiful 175 year old farmhouse in the center of it.
I am loving the old oak trees covered with spanish moss.
Tree swing.
There are so many beautiful trees… Im in love.
Living in the country will take some getting used to. The nearest Target is 8 miles away. Yikes!!
More pictures to come soon!!
I’ve been following your blog for several weeks now! This is SO gorgeous! It is going to be Amazing when its all complete!
Oh my goodness, I don’t even know where to begin! It’s all simply gorgeous and then the setting is just dreamy! It’s already charming and gracious and it’s just going to get better and better when it comes to life with a family to love it!
Thanks ladies. We feel blessed and are thankful to be able to build such a beautiful home.
The house is so beautiful. I can’t wait to see what it all looks like when it is finished. Beautiful area to have a home in.
I love that you measure communities by how close to a Target it is:) Our closest Target is maybe 4 or 5 miles away, but on the freeway at rush hour it could take half an hour to get there!
Can’t wait for the black shutters!

It’s already beautiful as is. Can’t wait to see how you decorate it.
8 miles to the nearest Target is not in the country! 🙂 I’m one whole town over and it takes me a good 25 minutes. My parents live 25 minutes away too but in a different direction and they are 10 miles from ANYTHING! But it’s nice that way too. 🙂
Love your house. It’s going to be so beautiful once you get into it!
Hey Toni! You have such a beautiful home. Everything is coming together so nicely.
PS. I read your comment below about your daughter’s obsession with One Direction. LOL! My daughter loves them too.
Your house is beautiful! The closest Target to me is 2 hours away!

It really amazes all the time to see a very good open floor plan like your formal living and dining room area. I’m sure that this place would look stunning when completed.
