I was contacted by a member of wayfair.com last month to see if I was interested in participating in a “wayfair challenge”. Wayfair.com, the largest online retailer of home furnishings, hosted a DIY Blogger Challenge the month of October. I was sent an item from Wayfair (pendant light) and a $50 gift card fromGiftcards.com in exchange for me to transform the light into something “new” and share my transformation on my blog. Yesterday on the blog, I shared my mudroom reveal. Today I am going to share how I transformed my wayfair light & the mudroom before and after.
Wayfair pendant lighting before:
LIGHTING AFTER:
I chose to spray paint the light an oil rubbed bronze. It matches the mudroom coat hooks perfectly now! It was super easy to do and only took 2 coats of paint.
MUDROOM BEFORE:
As you can see the “before” lighting was plain and builder grade. Updating it with a vintage style industrial lighting gave the room so much character.
